Thunder Eyeglass Frames

The only reason I hassle with frame of choice/Rochester Optical is that I understood because of their military contract their product was made in the USA. I have purchased the standard military issue (modern, not BCG) for years but was hoping to go a bit more upscale with the Thunder frames. But when I received them it is clearly stamped with “Korea” on the earpiece. Now I have learned this is acceptable for military use as S Korea is an ally nation, and it is better than china. But I think we can do better to bolster American manufacturing . When I complained and was given mumbo-jumbo about how they make the lenses in the US and are in compliance with regulations. As I said in response, if you’re doing contortions with semantics, you’re being dishonest. I think some of their products may be fully manufactured in the United States, but it’s difficult to tell which ones. I’m going to try State Optical Co next time, hopefully I can get lenses and frames fully American-made.
